Outlook Determines Outcome: See GOD See GOOD

Mark 8:22-26 (AMP): 22 Then they came to Bethsaida; and some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged Him to touch him. 23 Taking the blind man by the hand, He led him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see anything?” 24 And he looked up and said, “I see people, but [they look] like trees, walking around.” 25 Then again Jesus laid His hands on his eyes; and the man stared intently and [his sight] was [completely] restored, and he began to see everything clearly. 26 And He sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”

What is outlook? Outlook is my now and my future; one’s vantage point (a great point of view)

· Understanding about a matter

· Expectation about the future

· What’s directly in front of me or before me

· Effort

· Exposure

- A synonym for outlook is vision which involves the ability to see, foresight, dream, imagine, insight, prophecy, visualization.

-With vision, I have the imagery or perception visually but with outlook, I believe that with all conviction and resolve that all I visually imagine will come to pass (speaking those things that are not as though they are; believing that the promises of GOD are YES and AMEN)

Some common motivational phrases we have heard:

§ Outlook determines outcome

§ Attitude determines altitude

§ Change how you look at things and the way you look at things will change!

-These “simple” phrases can garner life changing results when they are applied and not just cliches in our life!

-We serve a good GOD! Our viewpoint point should be reflective of GODS view of us!

-When you see or think about GOD you should see hope, deliverance mercy!

Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hebrews 12:2: looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

4 Principles on Outlook

1. Acknowledge what you see: there is nothing before you that GOD won't turn around

2. Adjust how you see it: change your perspective; have an open mind to see things outside of what you believe to be normal

3. See things clearly as a result of being in Christ: see yourself and life the way GOD sees it

4. Say things confidently as a result of being in Christ: decree and declare the words of GOD believing that it is already done in the name of Jesus

HAVE FAITH AND WALK IN YOUR IDENTITY OF CHRIST BELIEVING THAT YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE!
