Scripture of the Week: Philippians 4:8-9 (New King James Version) Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the GOD of PEACE will be with you.
Prayer Point: The Lords Prayer John 17 (New Living Translation) Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. This is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
Be Empowered: Mediate on the word day and night, have faith in the LORD GOD, show gratitude, find joy in the LORD, and the GOD of PEACE will be with you! Pray without ceasing and honor GOD above everything else! May the Lord bless you and protect you, may he be gracious to you and shine his face upon you, may he show you his favor and give you his peace in Jesus name Amen!
